My day in San Francisco to attend the Shark Fest - Escape from Alcatraz swim event and picnic with my family inspired my larger painting. I painted a scene from my walk at the Crissy Field West Bluff. It such a gorgeous day and we had a lovely picnic in the park with family and friends. 

I was having a bit creative block, looked around my room, and saw my pile of Instax photos - some good and some flops. I used some of the flops for Posca marker paintings.
