Coloring Book Update

February 17, 2024. Here’s a quick update on my coloring book project. The book template is set up and I'm placing the artwork and inspiration work on the facing pages. I watched several good KDP YouTube tutorials for setting up and sending the book to Kindle Direct Publishing.

I needed to do several sample coloring pages of the artwork that did not have inspiration pieces so that took a bit. And I now I just have to color part of the artwork and do the design for the cover. I’m taking some inspiration from the sketchbook that I’m using for the original artwork for my coloring book. It’s the Field Notes Brand Limited Edition Streetscapes sketchbooks.

I thinking of adding some journal pages to my coloring book to make it a traveling coloring book and notebook. Since it’s going to be a smaller, more portable size, I feel this would be a good addition to my book. I’m hoping to publish sometime next month in March.

P.S. I’m going to do more blogging on the regular. It’s one of my goals this year.
